Hi everyone, Miss Thomas here!
I'll be uploading a music video once a week for you to enjoy watching and listening to at home (seen as how we are not able to do our usual singing assembly together!)
The videos will vary each week and may be a piece on the piano, a sing along on the guitar, a video link of a song for you to listen to, or maybe even something which you could try doing at home. I am by no means a professional musician or expert of any kind at all, but I hope you will find some comfort and enjoyment from watching the videos.
This first video is a piece called Misty Morning on the piano. Close your eyes and listen to the music; what does it make you picture in your mind? How does the pitch (high and low) and dynamics (loud and quiet) change throughout the piece? This is one of my favourite pieces to play and makes me feel really calm. Could you write down a list of things that make you feel calm?
