One of the passions that Cherie relates to us is her love of photography and she explains how this love of photography all began. Cherie shares her fondest memories with us about her childhood and about her parents. Since Cherie was the 9th child of this family, her parents were elderly when Cherie was born. Cherie has had beautiful as well as painful memories of her parents. It was when Cherie reached her teenage years that her father developed Dementia which is a term to describe symptoms of impairment in memory, communication, and thinking. But back in those days, having photos of cherished memories were few, therefore, Cherie became a photographer and recorded as much as she could to recollect memories of old. Also, in the last episode, Cherie treated us with past footage of her singing teacher and mentor - 'Delilah', and since Delilah's death, Cherie finally has a chance to give Delilah a final farewell.
