Mirrored figures sing, chasing their own melodies, while spinning the wheel of an upside-down bicycle. During my residency exhibition at the deYoung Museum, San Francisco, I asked museum visitors from all over the world to sing a song which was related to who/what they had lost in their lives while spinning the wheel of a bicycle. The bicycle was placed upside down so that I could emphasize the characteristics of our memory which would be turning but not moving. There was an interactive component where visitors could contribute their answers to questions on songs they would sing.
