For our second third year project we had to choose a brief ourselves to work on. I chose the Google brief which stated 'Find a genre, song or musical movement that best represents a cause and use typography to bring it to life.' I decided on the IDLES song, 1049 Gotho, which focuses on the image of depression. I also wanted to emphasise the current punk movement which is evolving from the initial nihilistic 'fuck everyone' to a more positive 'look after yourself and the people around you' ideology.
