Hi, my name is Tim,
I was born into bilingual (french/english speaking) family in rural southern Belgium where I grew up. After finishing college in Brussels where I studied Bible languages and history using both English and French, I moved to the States to work and live with my lovely wife.

While most of the time you'll find me reading, writing, creating music or out in nature with my family, I love meeting new people and learning about their experiences and dreams.

Methods:
They say the best training is experience. While I've not yet taught languages in an official setting, I have loved helping lots of people learn both music and languages. While I believe speaking and listening work the best, I also use plenty of theory and written materials when I teach French or English. Whatever a person's level or linguistic ambitions, i have found that a good balance of listening and speaking topped with supporting reading and grammar study, along with plenty of patience and pratice, will always lead you to your goals at no cost. I think all I do as a teacher is show up consistently with you to help you practice and offer guidance along the way.
