Breakdown
UOB Commercial (Houdini and After Effects) - Low res smoke simulation was created and used for advection of particles then composited using after effects for this video.
Heart is a Muscle (Houdini, Redshift and Nuke) -
I was inspired by the song "The Heart is a Muscle" by Gang of Youths and decided to create different hearts in this video.
Bridge Demolition (Houdini) - The modeling and destruction of the bridge were both done in Houdini and rendered in Mantra. Simulation was done on low res geometry, and replaced with high res geometry with edge and interior faces displacement during render time.
Smashing a Lightbulb in Slow Motion (Houdini and Redshift) - The lightbulb was destroyed using Houdini and rendered in Redshift. The scene was composited in Nuke. Similar to the bridge destruction, simulation was done on low res geometry, and replaced with high res geometry with edge and interior faces displacement during render time.
