Darkened immersive multisensory installation contemplating censorship and the disintegration of meditative process leading to internal and external conflict. Direct reference is made to Russian folklore and craft. The work presents a library covered in Orthodox church wax which also contributes fragrance. It includes fabric cross-stitched by hand in reference to heritage. The small candlelit space also features sound best audible upon taking a seat within it, it is a traditional Ukrainian song with decipherable notes of nostalgia but also thought of globalisation and the blurring of national identity as well as the global relevance of regional conflict.
