Devil Music 2 is part of a 6 piece series for solo classical guitar paying tribute to 80's metal and Black Sabbath in particular.
The second movement is a fast, mostly scalar piece based on octatonic and chromatic sets.
The piece is centered on both A and E-flat with a few modulations. It is of moderate difficulty and with the diligent practice or re-fingering of just the scales and artificial harmonic section, the piece can be mastered with some effort.
The pieces share little thematic material yet make the same sinister and haunting aura about them. I sincerely hope that you enjoy this piece as well as Devil Music 1, 3, 4, 5, and 6.
