Sketches are the first step in translating complicated, abstract ideas into reality. Themed entertainment design is no exception. In this video, I develop a mountain-themed ride concept using an existing roller coaster track as an underlay to inform the design process. The clip is a minute and a half long, compressed from the original 45-minute tutorial. My 16 y.o. son composed the chill, lo-fi background music, to contrast with the sped-up sketch speed. He's available for hire if you're in need of custom, royalty-free music for a project. Fast, affordable, and no drama.
