For the final requirement for my 3D modelling and animation class, we were tasked to animate the 3D model given to us based on an 11 second audio clip. The main requirement was to animate the character talking with body movements supporting the dialogue of the audio chosen. I took the requirement to the next level and decided to animate my character dancing and singing at the same time. I chose the song Can't Stop the Feeling by Justin Timberlake because it had the lyrics "sunshine in my pocket" and at the time I already was thinking of having my scene be in the forest. With the lyrics fitting the idea of a firefly I thought that my character can be animated to dance while it is trying to catch it. Additionally, I just happen to know a dance for this song since I was a Security and Mobility (SecMob) member for Ateneo de Manila's Orientation Seminar (OrSem) for "Sibol" and part of the dance did fit the animation I planned to make.
