In the summer of 2019, students and faculty traveled across the globe to China, Cuba and France as part of the Global Studies Initiative. In Havana, dance student Jahselyn Medina fell in love with Cuban music and culture. For a campus art exhibit in November 2019, Jahselyn choreographed a dance inspired by Cuba and recorded the video in the Bachmann Collaboration Building construction site.
