Baignée par la musique envoûtante du compositeur suédois Mikael Karlsson, Crypto aborde de manière originale le déplacement forcé et l'entêtement de l'homme à contrôler et transformer artificiellement la beauté. D'une portée universelle, le récit élaboré par Côté et Vavrek nous entraîne dans le paysage musical riche et varié d'une œuvre singulière, interprétée par des danseurs exceptionnels : Guillaume Côté, Matt Foley, Greta Hodgkinson et Drew Jacoby.

Featuring the music of Swedish composer Mikael Karlsson, “Crypto” is a groundbreaking work about forced displacement and the human need to control and transform beauty in wholly unnatural ways. Côté and Vavrek create a dynamic and complex narrative that allows us to dive into the vast and varied musical landscape of the work, performed by a stellar cast of artists and dancers : Guillaume Côté, Matt Foley, Greta Hodgkinson and Drew Jacoby.
