Today is my moms birthday, she died 6 years ago and I think about her everyday. Nobody can ever replace “our” Mother- even if the relationship was volatile.

Last week as we all started to figure out our new normal -stuck at home/ I tried to start up an old laptop for my kids- and I stumbled upon long ago moments. Do any of you remember iVisit? Well if you still have an old laptop with iVisit you can revisit the recordings (IF) they were recorded. ( iVisit no longer exists and can’t be accessed )but ..My mother recorded everything and I was constantly annoyed that she did that .... i would say “what are you going to do with these recordings !? ( but mostly I just rolled my eyes and said “ yes mom I hit the ok button!!! )
I now know why she did that ... and it was only Time Passing . ...that taught me.

Soooo to make a long story short ( my moms phrase ingrained into my dna now, too)
I just want to say this;
My friends, we are ALL now only able to communicate via the airways ... yes this “ too shall pass” but what if YOU decide to record your calls with your family ?............not because all these ordinary home moments are extraordinary. . . .
But what if they are?..........

Please think about recording yourself WITH someone else you like/ love/ getting to know. I Promise you with all of my heart that the most mundane moments WILL be among your most treasured. ...in time.
if you love someone enough to film / record them - ... you will not know *now how important these recordings are. Just tuck them away, they will not be
extraordinary..............yet.

.... please document your love. Just please do it....
