Watch KV get smoked on trail by his daughter on her very first hike to the High Sierras. She made me look like a complete rookie. She could even break camp quicker than me. Ha ha! What a wonderful situation for a father to have. I look forward to many more trips with "Classie". The Minarets, Lake Minaret and Minaret Creek did not disappoint. We enjoyed spectacular weather, highs 70's, lows 40's, sunny, breezy and lots of good swimming and soaking. We feasted on gourmet trail meals and also enjoyed lunches and beers at Red's Meadow Mulehouse Cafe and Mammoth Brewing Co.
Live simple. Live well.
