art break no 8: favourite rejects
this week, i'm sharing some of my favourite rejects from mural, logo, and illustration projects. the 'gold on black' image was drawn with gold ink using pen and ink nib on black paper. the nib was from a collection of incredible nibs i found in europe, with 5 points for creating the staff for sheet music. it made interesting lines when the ink overflowed and cut out in spots. i was going for a funky capital letter "E".
