Station Identification produced in the early 80s by Howard Wapner for TV30, a music and news television station in Lawrence, KS. This was done with the very first Mac, a 128K with floppy disks, black and white ---- colorized and oscillated with a hardware video switcher. TV30 was started by Jeff Nightbyrd, Jeremy Lansman and Lorenzo Milam of Low Power Technology out of Boulder, CO.
The music is an excerpt of "Star Gate" from Starcastle.
At the time there were a series of Station IDs, commercials and a music video produced for the station using primarily video feedback and the primitive beginnings of the 128K Mac for the visual content.
The series of Station IDs for "Catch 22" (Anchorage, AK) and "TV 30" (Lawrence, KS) have been in a box for the past 30 years. I upload them for historical and documentary purposes.
See if you can guess each 80's star in the piece.
180, 360 VR compatible.
