Have you ever thought about what it took for the snail to make it on to Noah's ark? That trip, getting to the ark, must have taken days - as it inched along, slowly but steadily. And then imagine Noah. He was probably looking at the clouds gathering in the distance and going, "OK, Lord. Is there anybody else? Oh! OK. Yeah. OK, I'll wait. OK, but it'd better hurry up!"
And then, I wonder, at the end of the flood when it was time for everybody to get off the ark, was the snail the last one to get off?
Well, you may feel like you're moving at a snail's pace as you move through your dulcimer lessons. But, I'm telling you, a snail's pace is good ... slow and steady as she goes.
As long as you're moving forward, you're moving forward. And that's a good thing.
