Boarding for this puppet/CGI based series for Factory Transmedia team reminded me of a cross between live-action and stop motion: my previous experiences ranging from Bob the Builder, Pingu, Rubba Dubbas and Engie Benjy.
I developed the directors thumbnail drawings into a production storyboard. As sets/props were being constructed at a later stage, the visual narrative would evolve beyond the storyboards. However, it was gratifying to see many shots and narrative ideas surviving intact and featuring in the final results.
It was a pleasure to have been part of an enjoyable and distinctive comedy series for CBBC appealing to young and old alike.
I boarded eight episodes across series 1 & 2.
