In this short, a man discovers a red spot on a white shirt while folding his laundry. The man rewashes the shirt, only to discover that it remains. After more failed attempts, the man finally solves his problem, but it is not long before he finds another.

2. Explain how setting functioned comedically in your video.
In this short, setting is not a root cause for comedy itself. Instead, the familiarity of the home and laundry room make it easier for the viewer to imagine themselves in a similar position. Thus, when watching the film, one may remember a time in their own lives when they discovered a spot that seemed to be irremovable.

3. Explain how a prop activated the narrative of your video.
The white shirt is the primary prop used to activate the narrative in the film. It is almost the first thing that the view sees, as well as the last. In introducing the white shirt and red spot in the very opening of the film, the viewer is provided with a general sense of how the narrative will progress.

4. Explain how costumes or makeup contributed to the comedic premise of your video.
The main character of the film does not have a costume that contributes heavily to the narrative. However, the character does have a white shirt on underneath the hoodie, lending to the fact that he is certainly susceptible to stains. The white shit with a spot on it, though, is a costume as well as prop. The simplicity of the white shirt ends up being its downfall, as the red spot is ever more present.

5. How was lighting used meaningfully throughout?
Throughout the film, lighting is used in a rather realistic, normal fashion. The normalcy of the lighting throughout much of the film aids in highlighting a specific use of lighting at the conclusion of the film.

6. How did lighting work in a specific comedic moment?
In the conclusion of the film, a lighting effect is used to heighten the sense of "doom" for the main character. The narrowing and darkening lens may represent the characters obsession/tunnel vision with the new stain.

7. How would you describe the style of performance in this video?
For this short, the style of performance is a mix of realistic and non realistic. The man's annoyance with the stain is certainly realistic. However, the obsessive, repetitive washing of the white shirt begins a progression of unrealistic behavior.
