So one of the beautiful things about liposuction
is there's really no incisions
like there are with lots of other surgeries we do.
And it kind of blows my mind,
but the entry point for the cannula is
so tiny that you don't even need a stitch to sew it up which is like
it blows my mind every time I hear that.
Yeah. So definitely there is a little mark, not saying there is no such thing
as scarless liposuction,
but you're not going to have like an incision like you
do for a tummy tuck or breast augmentation or something like that.
It's usually, I used to say it's like the size of a pencil eraser almost
and like what you said, there's no even stitch on it.
So it helps it to heal a lot nicer,
but they do need to have an entry point depending
to get the cannula into the area you want to do it.
So for every different body part you do, it's a different area,
but your surgeon will tell you that at your consultation.
So you're not surprised when you wake up that you have a tiny little one in your belly button
or it depends on the area you're doing, right.
Right, No surprises.
You're going to know where it's going to be
but they are very small like she was saying
and they try to be strategic about where they put it so it's not obvious and no one sees it.
Yeah, like I did my inner thigh liposuction
and it's in my groin kind of like in the crease, so it's really hidden.
