Hadfield and Swan are musical comedy northerners. Best pals, Frazer Hadfield and Emma Swan met at university and write and perform original, observational comedy songs.
From rent prices, Londoners on the tube, to learning the recorder, Hadfield and Swan comment on the lives of a couple of Northern millennials living down South. Their first online release, ‘Silence’, reached over 100,000 people on Facebook and was played on radio stations in the UK. Their song ‘British People in the Sun’ was also retweeted over 100,000 times.
They were crowned ‘Best Newcomers’ at The Musical Comedy Awards 2019, and are currently writing the pilot for their musical comedy sitcom ‘Faffing’.
When rehearsing, Hadfield and Swan are never without a cup of tea.
