I occasionally set myself tasks in Houdini to figure out how to do things that are an absolute headache in other software. This is a fun mix of fluid dynamics and hair, the idea of which is something most people will run away from screaming.
There is a FLIP sim that sets up the chocolate, with wires for hair, followed by a couple of separate particle sims that add in extra points wherever the meshed sim strikes the ropes (built around the simulated wires) or pig head. Then it's all remeshed again to give a multilayered feel.
Took a lot of to-ing and fro-ing to figure this one out. One thing that didn't help was that the particles would enter the hair area and splash, as FLIP is prone to doing by default. This would cause an explosion, hanging the machine, but that was no problem if I took the hair out the sim. I've taken to using POP speed limit nodes in these things now to keep other speedy points in check.
