A continuation from my first Zoom film: 'Zoom the First Magnificent 7', I shot this the weeks after the first film, and wanted to make each individual clip like a miniature thriller/suspense film trailer.
I created these short films on Zoom during the first wave of the Coronavirus pandemic, in an effort to demonstrate that I could create something visually interesting with the Zoom application. I also wanted to make moving image with the format, as many image makers were making stills trying to mimic what an SLR would do; I, by contrast, wanted to embrace Zoom for what it was: moving image and lo-fi. I underlined this incorporating the Zoom tiled screen into the editing.
