This video is me walking my dogs along the same path. This video was kind of tricky to film, i had to find a way to attach my camera to my dogs. Hence me strapping a phone holder to my dogs harness, which is why the camera kind of wobbles to the side then goes back up. They are on leashes so i am running/walking behind them as well, fixing the camera. I decided on strapping the camera to the as oppose to me following them with a camera because i wanted it to be about them up close and personal. I also have the camera sort of tilted downward because i wanted each dog to appear, and it is cut watching dog ears flop around. Having the camera pointed downward also sort of brings you down to their level. They are also not walking together, it is the same path but different times. This video was a lot of fun to film, my dogs really enjoyed it. I decided on filming my dogs walking because it is something i do everyday without a second thought. My dogs when walking have very different personalities. One likes to her time and smell around, the other just enjoys the freedom of being outside and runs. It is interesting how my dogs walk differ from their personalities. My dog on the left is always jumping around but she calmly walks. On the other hand Pudding on the right is always laying around being lazy but he likes to run outside. I find the activity of walking my dogs relaxing, i just let them guide to where they want to go. It feels odd to relinquish control. This video kind of reminded me of the video we watched in class Endless Rendezvous, walking your dog is exactly that.
