WHEN THE TIDE SINGS is an experimental drama that centres around the grief of a young man named Jack as he has one final conversation with the memory of his lover. Enveloped by the quietness of a space he once shared with Eliza, Jack starts to experience the worst part of a struggle that has dragged on for too long; the struggle to move on from a painful loss made worse by the daily guilt of feeling as if he could have done more. The only friend he has now is the tide of the ocean he lives next to. The songs that it sings to him has somehow brought a part of Eliza back, although not in the way he desires. And yet, the words of this familiar voice is what ultimately reminds Jack how to let go, how to remember and how to continue finding the will to live.
