Unidos is a community program ran through the Richardson Police Department. It provides assistance to Spanish Speakers in Richardson. Unidos is the Spanish word for united. One of its biggest events of the year was recently held at St. Paul’s Catholic Church. It attracted nearly 500 residents and their children, who were treated to music, face painting, a movie and book bags filled with new school supplies. Crime prevention officers worked with several businesses to organize this back to school festival. Unidos hosts quarterly meetings in the community. Visit cor.net/unidos for more information.
