These excerpts are from a longer episodic short that I made my sophomore year as part of an Anti-Narrative class taught by Kyle Henry at Northwestern University. Working without a formal budget, we crowdsourced materials from electronic recycling places and from strangers on Craigslist. My day-job was in a woodworking shop so I was able to borrow some materials to gut the computers and sand down the edges to make it safe for the actors to wear. Bots was filmed by Link Wolfe over two weekends on a Red Epic at borrowed or stolen locations. Please email me if you would like to see the full film at [email protected].
