Hello everyone (bonjour a tous et toute) Thank you for joining me today! My name is Stella and I was born and raised in the Congo where French was my language of instruction for 19. Somehow I found myself in an English-speaking country holding virtual coffee chats in French for beginners and advanced level students. I have been doing that for about 3 years now. I also teach private (one on one) beginner's French class. Though I'm somewhat of an introvert, I love the outdoors and meeting new people from all over the world.

If you take my course, you will enjoy it because it’s super interactive. From watching small movie clips to sharing lyrics from the latest French music hits, all of my students appreciate this type of instruction. My approach is a student-centered and you will definitely leave my course with higher proficiency.

I always start off by working with my students to set their goals (personal, professional, educational, etc.). I also use Flipgrid as a tool to facilitate video discussions. Each grid is like a message board where I may pose questions, called "topics," and my students can post video responses that appear in a tiled grid display. As you can see, Social media is a powerful tool and it’s a privilege to be a part of this platform and to help you accomplish your goals!
