"Nuyorican Basket" is a documentary that tells the dramatic story of the Puerto Rico Basketball Team of 1979, whose players forever changed the way basketball is played in the Island and became and inspiration in the '79 Pan American Games, hell in San Juan.
This Documentary would premiere in the Roberto Clement Coliseum.
Our mission: fill the Coliseum to maximum capacity.
IDEA:
We decided to promote the documentary in the oldest and most important newspaper of Puerto Rico, with achieved the greatest coverage of the 79 Games: El Mundo
There was just one problem: El Mundo closed its doors 30 years ago.
This little detail did not stop us.
On July 7, 2017, we returned El Mundo to Puerto Rico fo one day.
We launched it one day before the premier, with the date of July 7, 1979, reproducing exactly its format and promoting the documentary on the front page. Our clients published ads with their '79 logos.
Then we printed and distributed thousands of copies around the Island.
