Mario Canedo is an austrian actor, voice-over artist and author. The viennese performer with spanish roots took acting classes with Karlheinz Hackl, Erni Mangold and many more.
Canedo graduated from Vienna Conservatory in 2013. From that time onward he has been seen in in the german and austrian media landscape (Schnell ermittelt, Tatort and many more). Mario Canedo took part in the film adaption of the best-selling book "How I learned to be my Own Child" and took one of the main character's voice in the first austrian full-animated Movie "Rotzbub" as well. Canedo also played a part alongside Karin Viard in the french thriller "Les Apparences" directed by Marc Fitoussi. Mario Canedo is member of the Austrian Filmacademy, the German Academy for Television and the Vienna Screenplay Association. Since 2016 Canedo also sits on the board of the Austrian Association of Motion Picture Artists (VÖFS). He was nominated as "Shootingstar 2015" by the austrian magazine TV-Media and was a juror in the austrian panel for the 89th Academy Awards for Best Foreign Language Film.
