I’M IN LOVE WITH A GERMAN FILM STAR talks about relationship that ceases before it even starts. I like to call this type of relationship two parallel lines metaphorically, in which case that they will never intersect even though they can be extraordinarily close to each other. When people seek out for something that they have strong desire for, they become the victim of the relationship; they would sacrifice or even lose themselves in order to win the other person’s heart, yet, is that really winning? The answer can be really subjective and I’m not here to give an answer but often time, this is how I feel when I’m in the same situation.

The project simply describes this phenomenon through a lady’s emotional journey. Starting with the first time meeting the German film star, chemicals were developed so fast, she fell in love with him at the first sight. As the obsession grew stronger, she started stalking him and tried to get his attention or even take a part in his life; however, like I mentioned earlier, the two lines will never intersect if they are holding a parallel relationship. Indeed, the lady has nothing in common with the German film star, different career path, different age range, different nationality and different everything (to my viewers, sorry for making this so tragic)! The lady realized her vulnerability in this impossible-to-happen relationship, therefore, she made a sensible choice by letting go her obsession and going back to her real life.
