Seeking new experiences, testing their limits, or hoping to break away from their earthly existence, young people regularly reach out to drugs as their means of doing so. By producing the highest feelings of pleasure, reaching the euphoric, intense, "bright" peak, after which there is nothing more to attain, they envision the enrichment and enlightenment of their souls, only to find out, that these feelings are evanescent and the world from which they tried to escape still remains the same.
This short film is a part of my initial sample of work for Edinburgh Napier University, BA (Hons) Film.
