Created as an application for Edinburgh Napier University and not able to come up with a good title, i decided to name the film after the theme of the uni brief, Bright. The sequence was originally longer but unfortunately had to cut it down to 3 minutes. Since the theme is Bright, i decided to take the brief literally. Bringing a "Bright" character The Glutton, a character created by my friend Jamie Leckie and I. The Glutton is meant to be a showman, enticing people with his song and dance. Luring them in with bright colours and the like. He's meant to be manifestation of the next fix, which is why in the end we see the student swallowing a pill and in the last scene, shows that addiction has taken another soul.
