Belwest is a shoe manufacturer established in 1988, becoming one of the first companies in the USSR with joint foreign capital. The German “Salamander” and the Vitebsk factory “Red October” participated in its foundation. The first pair of shoes was launched in 1989.
In 1990, Belwest reached its design capacity of 2 million pairs of shoes per year. Since 1991, branded stores began to open. In October 2018, Belwest reached more than 350 stores in Belarus and Russia.
