What if the noise from fraction become have autonomous movement through the borrowed body?
In my new body of work Nightbreak I motorized found objects that I gathered from the street of Seoul while sleeping over different temporary houses from friends of mine and connected them to the actual events that seemed unrelated -- a journey to find a start of symptoms of the body. Symptoms like bruxism- somehow the tooth grind unproductive way with pressure- has no medical reason that proved its cause while it's harder to realize whether you have it in the first place unless you have a person who heard your undefined noise that destroy your tooth. A desire to find the origin in order to remove symptoms as well as to understand my body better has been felt almost self-destructive to me while tracing my past and considering factors from my life: habit, personality, environment, family, sensibility to surroundings, stress etc.

Using the metaphor of bruxism to explore ideas around the anxiety of being imperfect being: how undefined symptoms as a physical language– started to orient one’s emotions especially when you can not witness this involuntary undertaking during your sleep – time of resting and relaxing.
