Logo revolve animation for SprintRay Inc, a 3D printing technology company. SprintRay 3D printers use a DLP image projector that consists of hundreds of small square shaped mirrors that tilt along the diagonal to change reflection direction.
This technical aspect inspired the company's logo design. So when I animated it, I needed to stay true to the movement and function of the tiny mirrors, while maintaining the abstract simplicity of the logo. Here is the logo revolve displayed with a little bit of added flare!
