Earth 19
My very first animation is finally ready! After few month of development and laziness I finally achieved the result and here it is. The initial idea was to create somewhat black stylish Earth with simple animation and camera movement. However, after a while I realized that the end lacked some feature which would conclude this small shot. Finally, after a bit of thinking and rambling through youtube I came up with the idea of water colliding with earth. Simulation took a while, but it brought some action to the video in the end. Well, I’d like to say that at the end of the day it wasn’t easy for me to grasp a lot of new information, develop new skills but it totally worth it!

All 3D work, simulations, animations were made totally in Blender 2.79 (I used 2.8 also but only for a very little tiny bit) (@blender.community) and rendered with Cycles and Eevee.
I also used earth displacement map created by Tuomas Kankola (@tuomaskankola) for continents texture.
For water simulation I used flip fluids (@flip.fluids) add on for blender.
Pro Lighting Studio (@andrewpprice) add on was used for lighting.
Compositing as well as color adjustments were made in DaVinci Resolve 16 (@blackmagicofficial).
Music was taken from YouTube music library.
