Denver Digerati started commissioning artists in 2012 with the 80 minute program SightLine. Seven artists were commissioned annually for the Friday Flash summer series, which ran from 2013 -2015. Friday Flash resulted in the advent of the Supernova Digital Animation Festival in 2016. The Festival is now in its fifth year, with content determined through an annual call for submissions, curation as well as invitational programs that offer opportunities for Denver Digerati's vast artist network to explore new methodologies with their work.
