creative mind - INC, is a character that was created to be an icon for Creative Magazine. They are showing the creativity of the course, as well as the kind of thing that students partake in. In order to capture the essence of what the magazine is, I needed to come up with ideas of what the character should look like. I chose this final look as they look friendly and approachable, just as the people on the course are. The face shape is supposed to be similar, but also drastically different, to that of morph, the Aardman animated character. I wanted to show not only the creativity of the course, but also the facilities available. The animation studios at the St John's campus were a great selection for the background for Creative Mind - Inc, as they show where all the planning for animations normally take place at the university.
