This work demonstrates my abilities in 3D animation design. It is a personal project.
This work was inspired by Cotard's syndrome. It is a rare mental disease that makes people consider themselves dead. They consider themselves to have no organs and some of them even love to sleep at funerals. I hoped to present the horrible disease in a contrasting and interesting way. I design a character without body features such as face and hands. I compare life (eg, birthday song and cake) and death (eg, grave and ghost) to make this animation more contrasting. By the adorable visual style and plot, I wish people could easily understand Cotard’s syndrome without fear.
