Much like the suns setting, a birds journey comes to an end.
The focus of the project was to relay themes within Edgar Allen Poe's "The village Street" in a visual media. This is that product, taking the sense of whimsy and aw found in the language of the first part of the poem and instilling that through the sunset and backgrounds. The eyes and transformation express the distraught denial described in the second portion, which have a goal of inducing anxiety and tension.
This was my sophomore final for my Spring 2019 Visual Communication Course at the KCAI Animation Department. Taken under professor John Berry.
