Melisa is the co-owner of Salvajes @santuariosalvajes, an animal sanctuary located outskirts of La Plata city. She and her partner have saved hundreds of animals from slaughterhouses and farms, who now live with them in a small piece of land in the Argentine countryside.
This vegan couple have taken straight action to fight for what they think. Melisa's interview was part of a broader story on veganism in Argentina, shot for @AP in 2019 with AP's team Debora Rey and @natachapisarenko #vegan
