This season for the London knights has been an exciting one. Giant Creative has been doing some really cool stuff with the nights and had me come out to shoot some game footage from the centre ice box and do a stylized entrance video to be used as their jumbo tron hype video before the games.
Aside from the basic game footage where my camera is right in the action, our set up for the entrance frames was really cool. We lined the walls with pavo tubes that were white and gold to give us some level and bring in the gold pop. We keyed the players and scene with a Ledgo G260 set to a saturated green. We backlit this all with a nice spread across the players. The last light we threw in there was a aperture 300x set to tungsten to give us a nice warm cut/hair light on the back of the players to play along with the gold pavos. We heavily hazed up the hallway and this is what we got!
The jumbo tron video was edited by Nigel Campbell and has footage from myself, second op Andrew Stepjenson and various broadcasts.
