This is another work for the “Animated Typography”-course. We had to create an animation for an excisting or fictional book cover. For this I picked one of my favourite books “1Q84” by Haruki Murakami.
By using simple paper-cut-like shapes, dull colors in combination with grunge-textures and a lower frame-rate I tried to approach the strange, “not-quite-from-this-world”-feeling of the book.
