freelabadmin (buyitlater!)…for lab, office, business
buyitlater! is a little Web-based PHP/HTML-Application for research labs, small companies and offices, which allows you to enter and print out orders for consumables and other items. You can enter a list of companies which are inserted in your order via drop-down menus. Users in your lab or office can be entered and assigned user roles. You can enter your different accounts including a little budget calculation for your grants or projects, showing how much money is left. Planned is a app which allows you to pin-board needed items when a PC is not near by to place the order later.
I'm not a software-professional, so the code might be weak/not optimal/or what so ever - but it works! Anyway I recommend to use it just in your internal network only, as many safety aspects have not been addressed. If anybody likes the software and even improves it I would be happy to get in contact and share new ideas / upgrades and so forth.
