We partnered with comedian Joey Mulinaro of Barstool Sports on a variety of a videos for our social channels after a football practice in August. I filmed, edited, and sent this video to our social team minutes after it occurred. Capitalizing on the moment and Joey's social following, the video gained 396,000 views and 4,500 likes on Purdue Football's Twitter account alone.

We went on to produce a sketch with Joey interviewing our star wide receiver, David Bell, in Joey's Cris Collinsworth impersonation. Joey also worked with our creative staff and communications department to conduct his own interviews with Purdue football players. Overall, this was a great example of partnering with a social media influencer to help further our social brand and garner more eyes on our content. Our communication with him on what videos we produced, tweets we encouraged him to quote tweet, and other content distribution strategies helped maximize the success of this partnership.
