Good morning and welcome to the Daily Dish! Today is Wednesday, April 1st, and it is GOLD day. Our Atlanta Academy community is celebrating Georgia Bulldog Day, also known as sports theme day!
I am thrilled to spend another morning with you. We are at the midpoint of week three of online learning, and I continue to be so proud of each and every one of you. I want to remind you to continue practicing social distancing, which means that you are doing your part to keep everyone healthy. If your family chooses to take a walk or bike ride, the goal is to stay at least six feet away from others outside your immediate household.
We also have an update on the Traveling Storybook competition, and unfortunately, we did not win. Mrs. Shore and I are so proud of our 5th-grade students for the effort you put into creating the entry. Also, thank you to everyone who voted for us—what an incredible experience. I will definitely call it a victory, as we were in the top 10 in the USA! Way to go, Gladiators!
