In this post, Rich talks with Coonoor Behal, Greg Tindale, & Eva Lewis about what drew them to improv. Eva explains how she appreciates how improv is not scripted, present, and in the moment. Although this is what may scare some people away from improv, this is what drew her to it. She also explains how improv is freeing if you allow it to be and once you find trust and support within yourself and your team it makes the experience much easier and worthwhile. Greg mentions how he was taking business classes while taking improv classes and realized the lessons he was learning in the improv classes were the same, but better than the business books. From day one he saw the connection to the corporate world and knew he wanted to teach people how improv can make you better at your job and your daily life. Similar to Greg, Coonoor noticed the parallels between the business world and the improv world and her attachment is a result to those connections.
