INERTIA
INERTIA is a Dance Project by Liliana Barros in collaboration with Philipp Contag-Lada, specially conceived for a digital format includes a Dance Film featured by a Interactive App/ browser.
The Film
Paradoxical as it may seem, INERTIA deals with the topic of "digital society" and focus on the physical states caused by an overload of sensory and intellectual stimulants. Relentless drive for more, increase and loss of control which may rather lead to chaos, a feeling of isolation and fear. INERTIA explores this discrepancy between the shock caused by information overload and the urgency of accessing a more organic pace. The solo mode not only emphasizes concentration on one person, but also translates isolation as a symptom and reaction.
The App-Player
This three-dimensional scanning technology using volumetric video, allows us to offer the viewer a direct interaction with the work in a more playful way. This tool gives each individual the opportunity to experience and observe this playin a unique way. Viewers can rediscover some of the choreographic material, select its own perspective and compose a favorite choreographic sequence.
