This data reveals an emerging complex classroom as groups worked on the Pine Beetle Challenge at stem-education.ca/?page_id=1071. Each group was designing and programming a robot to find and remove red coloured trees in the arena. A Go-Pro mounted on the ceiling captured their interactions within and between groups. The color coded groups and birds-eye view made the pulse of complexity visible.
